Clearpool (CPOOL) reaches a two-month high after simultaneous listings on Upbit and Bithumb

On October 22, 2025, the Clearpool (CPOOL) token experienced a significant market event, with its price surging to a two-month high following its simultaneous listing on South Korea’s two largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Upbit and Bithumb.

A Surge Fueled by Strategic Listings

The dual listing on Upbit and Bithumb acted as the primary catalyst for the rally. Trading began on both platforms at 16:30 Korean Standard Time (KST). The initial market reaction was strong, with the token’s value jumping more than 91% at one point, from $0.104 to $0.199, a level not seen since late August. Although the price later corrected, it settled nearly 30% higher than its pre-listing level.

The surge in price was accompanied by an extraordinary spike in trading activity. Data from CoinMarketCap showed that CPOOL’s daily trading volume exploded by 1,435.90% to reach $69 million. Upbit emerged as a dominant force, accounting for nearly 26% of the total trading volume on its own. The accessibility was further boosted by Bithumb, which initiated a fee-free trading period for CPOOL running until 17:00 KST on October 24.

Buyback Program Adds to Market Confidence

Adding to the positive market sentiment, Clearpool resumed its official token buyback program during the same period. This initiative uses a portion of the revenue generated from across its ecosystem—including Dynamic Pools, Clearpool Prime, Credit Vaults, and the USDX T-Pool—to purchase CPOOL tokens directly from the open market. Such buybacks are often interpreted by the market as a sign of management’s confidence in the project’s fundamentals and can help stabilize the price by reducing circulating supply.

Looking Beyond the Initial Rally

While the short-term price and volume movements are dramatic, the true test for CPOOL will be sustaining momentum beyond the initial listing frenzy. The coming days will be crucial in assessing whether current trading interest evolves into lasting, organic growth for the token. Market participants will be closely watching to see if the buyback program and increased exposure from the listings can solidify CPOOL’s role in the competitive on-chain credit market.
