MultiVM Architecture and RWA Tokenization
MANTRA has launched its mainnet, introducing a blockchain designed for the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs) through a unique MultiVM architecture that natively supports both Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and CosmWasm environments. This dual compatibility enables developers to deploy smart contracts in Solidity or Rust on a single layer-1 chain, eliminating the need for cross-chain bridges and simplifying interoperability between ecosystems. Built on Cosmos SDK, MANTRA Chain integrates compliance controls directly at the protocol level, offering a regulated framework tailored for institutional use.
The project has secured a VASP license from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), enhancing its credibility for regulated DeFi services. Key partnerships include Inveniam for asset valuation and tokenization, Fireblocks for institutional custody solutions, and Binance as a network validator. The OM token serves multiple functions within the ecosystem, including governance in MANTRA DAO, staking for security, fee payments, and participation in buyback programs.
